Major Argument in "Run the World (Girls)"

The major argument in Beyonce's 2011 hit song, "Run the World (Girls)" is quiet clear. She, who is known to be a key celebrity in the feminist movement, created a message that girls are the superior gender of the world. With her repeated line of "Who run the world? Girls!",  she wants her audience to keep in mind this line the most, which represents her major argument of how girls have the power to change the world. She also denies the claim that women need men to thrive and that men are influential to how a woman should act. The use of her lyrics were able to suppress the power of men while arguing a woman can influence a man instead by also saying, "Endless power, our love can devour. You'll do anything for me". She then lists all the reasons why women are strong by stating women are "smart enough to make millions, strong enough to bear children, then get back to business". Finally, she threatens men who attempt to bring down her and other women's reputation stating "you better not play me, F U pay me". The stasis claim of evaluation used strengthens her argument of woman domination. She explains in many beneficial ways how women are the ones who make the world go round and the value of woman is essential in the world. Beyonce's prominent lyrics and persuasive language was able to boost the confidence in women, arguing for feminism and the strength of women in society, creating the major argument women can be just as strong as men.
